About The Position

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, TX. The role involves providing onsite IT support across multiple locations, troubleshooting and resolving desktop, server, network, and infrastructure issues. The ideal candidate is a technical generalist who enjoys solving complex problems, working independently, and supporting a wide variety of technologies. Strong troubleshooting skills, networking knowledge, and experience supporting users across multiple locations are essential.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT Support, Field Services, Desktop Support, or Infrastructure experience
• Strong Windows troubleshooting and networking fundamentals
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience supporting Windows 11 and macOS environments
• Hardware deployment, installation, and troubleshooting experience
• Strong customer service and documentation skills
• Ability to travel frequently and provide occasional after-hours support
• Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

• CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL certifications
• VMware or Hyper-V experience
• Experience supporting healthcare, dental, or multi-site environments

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support across multiple locations
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, server, network, and infrastructure issues
• Install, configure, and support PCs, Macs, servers, and peripherals
• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server environments
• Conduct onsite technology assessments and recommend improvements
• Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues
• Document solutions and support activities
