About The Position

HonorBuilt thrives on complex jobs and large-scale deployments. We intimately understand not only restaurant POS systems but also the inner workings of today’s modern restaurants. In this job, you will install technology equipment inside our client’s restaurants, servicing many large fast-food chains. You will travel each week to the job site, performing installations overnight after the restaurant closes. Depending on the brand, you may leave when the installation is complete or stay until the restaurant opens to ensure everything functions correctly. You will typically sleep at the hotel during the day and then perform another installation the next night. A typical week involves leaving on a Sunday or Monday and returning on a Thursday or Friday. HonorBuilt provides a company credit card for expenses, and an internal travel agent books all travel and rental cars in advance. This is a full-time, safety-sensitive position that involves operating a company vehicle. Pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana, is required.

Requirements

Weekly travel outside of home location (via air or vehicle).
Self-starter – positive results oriented.

Basic computer skills.
Basic Windows OS and Microsoft Office knowledge.
Technical troubleshooting abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Proven history of successful communications and outstanding customer service skills.
Valid REAL ID-compliant Driver's License.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to pass Criminal Background Checks.
Ability to pass pre-hire drug testing and on-going random drug testing.
Experience working with basic hand tools and drills.
History of working with technology and basic computer skills.
Experience taking great care of customers in a busy environment.
Ability to walk distances up to a half mile.
Ability to work while standing on concrete surface continuously 8-10 hours – Frequently.
Ability to work while bending, squatting and kneeling - Frequently.
Ability to work while extending your arms/hands overhead - Frequently.
Ability to sit in automobile, train or airplane for extended period of time - Frequently.
Use of small electric, cordless and hand tools - Frequently.
Climbing and work on ladders up to 12 feet – Frequently.
Lifting objects up to 100 lbs - Occasionally.

Nice To Haves

Restaurant or related customer service field experience is a plus.
Point of Sale System Exposure/Experience is a plus.
Knowledge of configuring a network system is a plus.
Lives within a short drive of a major airport.
