About The Position

This position is for an IT Enterprise Business Analyst supporting IT projects, system implementations, or technology procurements. The role involves extensive analysis, documentation, and collaboration with both business and technical stakeholders. The position is funded through the Georgia DOT fiscal year, with potential for annual contract renewals. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents. The role currently follows a telework/remote hybrid work schedule, requiring work within the Eastern Time Zone during standard business hours, Monday through Friday. The department observes 12 state holidays annually, and consultants may not work during holiday weeks without prior approval. Extended leave requests during the first year are discouraged. Consultants must maintain a personal cell phone for business communications. The weekly work schedule is hybrid, with one day onsite per week and remote work for the remaining days.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years Experience working as an IT Business Analyst supporting IT projects, system implementations, or technology procurements.
  • 5+ Years Strong understanding of business/data process analysis methodologies and SDLC processes.
  • 5+ Years Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, workshops, and JAD sessions.
  • 5+ Years Ability to gather, document, and manage complex business, data, and functional requirements.
  • 5+ Years Experience developing process flows, workflow diagrams, and functional specifications.
  • 5+ Years Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • 5+ Years Ability to work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders.
  • 5+ Years Experience supporting procurement documentation, vendor coordination, or contract-related activities.
  • 5+ Years Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
  • 5+ Years Documenting AS IS & TO BE Process & User Interface Mockups.
  • 5+ Years Experience in developing statements/scope of work for contracting and procurement.
  • 5+ Years Experience managing multiple projects/tasks at once; Results oriented and highly organized.
  • 5+ Years Experience in Strong interviewing, active listening, communication, presentation, moderating meetings, and interpersonal skills - influencing, negotiating, etc.
  • 5+ Years Experience in Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare presentations and write scope/specifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, Information Technology Systems).

  • Experience supporting government or public-sector IT initiatives.
