About The Position

The Enterprise Business Analyst partners with business teams to design, deliver, and support custom solutions that address operational needs outside the standard capabilities of the ERP. This role works with business stakeholders, business analysts, developers, and vendors to improve processes through solutions such as dashboards, workflow applications, reporting, and other targeted business applications. The Analyst translates business needs into practical system solutions and supports the full lifecycle—from discovery through deployment and ongoing enhancement. This position requires an individual that has a desire to serve internal customers, can manage multiple priorities with deadlines, and has attention to detail. The company continues to show steady growth, and the Business Analyst is required to have a strong focus on the continuous improvement of processes and controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Finance, or a related field or a combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting, implementing, configuring, or enhancing ERP and/or custom business applications.
  • Minimum 3 years in a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • General knowledge of both accounting principles/practices and how financial data flows through an ERP system.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and related software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly with limited supervision.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to communicate and build relationships with all levels of fellow employees.
  • Ability to convey information effectively and clearly both in both verbal and written form.
  • Must be dependable and responsible when fulfilling obligations.
  • Must be detail oriented, results oriented and able to embrace and adapt to change.

Nice To Haves

  • Viewpoint Vista experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in construction or service industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business teams to identify problems, document requirements, and design practical solutions outside the ERP.
  • Evaluate requests and recommend the best approach: existing tools, workflow automation, reporting, ERP configuration, or custom development.
  • Work with developers, vendors, business analysts, and stakeholders to build and refine applications.
  • Plan and perform functional, integration, data, security, and user acceptance testing; track and resolve defects.
  • Coordinate pilots, deployment readiness, go-live activities, release communications, and post-go-live support.
  • Create and maintain process maps, functional specifications, SOPs, test scripts, training materials, and application documentation.
  • Deliver user training, provide day-to-day application support, manage enhancement requests, and maintain a prioritized backlog.
  • Ensure solutions follow enterprise standards for change control, data validation, access, financial controls, documentation, and required approvals.
  • Contribute to the team and lead by example with an open and positive attitude when coordinating all the above tasks for the company in a professional manner.
