About The Position

This is not a traditional systems administration role. My client is looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer who understands how cloud services, virtualization, networking, security, and automation work together to support a high-performance software development environment. The strongest candidates don't simply administer systems. They understand why systems are designed a certain way, how technical decisions impact reliability and security, and how infrastructure choices support the business.

Requirements

• Azure and Microsoft 365 administration
• VMware vSphere / ESXi
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
• Networking fundamentals including VLANs, routing, and firewalls
• Endpoint security and systems administration
• PowerShell scripting and automation
• Windows and Linux server administration

Nice To Haves

• CI/CD and DevOps exposure
• GitHub or Jira integrations
• Docker or Kubernetes
• SQL Server administration
• AI-assisted automation tools
