About The Position

OMCO, a MacLean-Fogg Company, is hiring an IT End User Specialist for our Pierceton, Indiana location. In this on-site role, you will provide end-user support across hardware, software, networks, workstations, and collaboration systems while helping maintain secure, reliable technology for employees. You will also support device deployment, documentation, asset tracking, and IT compliance activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 0-2 years of experience in IT support or a related area, with a focus on troubleshooting and user support.
  • Proficiency in basic IT troubleshooting, hardware and software configuration, and network connectivity support.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for working effectively with end users and IT colleagues.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple issues, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Attention to detail when documenting procedures, managing assets, and supporting compliance with IT policies and standards.
  • Ability to schedule and manage small projects or updates while supporting timely completion and minimal user disruption.

Responsibilities

  • Receive escalations from Tier 1 and help desk support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems involving hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support timely, comprehensive resolution of technical issues.
  • Install and configure software, apply hardware updates and patches, and help maintain reliable end-user devices.
  • Set up and deploy user workstations and accounts to support employee onboarding and ongoing technology needs.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and support communication, conference room, and collaboration systems.
  • Create and maintain documentation for workstations, systems, troubleshooting procedures, and support processes.
  • Support IT asset tracking by monitoring and recording hardware and software inventory.
  • Help ensure systems and devices follow organizational security standards, participate in compliance audits and corrective actions, and follow applicable safety, environmental, quality, and 5S practices.
