  • Strong vendor management skills, including MSP and third-party consultant oversight
  • Proven ability to lead a responsive, service-oriented IT function in a fast-paced operating environment

  • Hands-on experience adopting AI, automation, and infrastructure-as-code tooling in middle market IT operations
  • Experience leading IT due diligence and post-close integration of acquisitions

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage all network infrastructure, servers, and cloud environments to ensure maximum stability and uptime
  • Manage Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and Intune across the organization
  • Design and enforce backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity protocols
  • Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues before they impact operations
  • Manage the full lifecycle of employee devices, including laptops and mobile devices (provisioning, configuration, refresh, and decommission)

  • Evaluate vendor performance, manage contracts, and ensure accountability against deliverables
  • Identify and onboard new technologies and technology vendors as the business scales
  • Govern a partner-leveraged operating model: define and manage SOWs, SLAs, performance metrics, and renewal economics across the partner ecosystem so operational delivery is executed under measurable accountability rather than continuous-overhead arrangements
  • Support and administer in partner with external consultants, the core business applications including Sage 300, InspectAll, FileMaker, and Power BI
  • Coordinate with functional stakeholders to optimize application workflows and integrations
  • Oversee user access management, licensing, and configuration across all platforms

  • Provide regular reporting to the CFO on infrastructure health, project status, and key risks
  • Lead IT due diligence and post-close integration of acquired companies; maintain a playbook that scales integration capacity as required

  • Cultivate an operating culture focused on automation, repeatable patterns, and continuous improvement
