About The Position

Reporting to the CIO, the IT Director of Software Engineering & Integration will lead the company’s application development, customer integration, business intelligence, and software delivery functions. This role is responsible for transforming a legacy development organization into a modern, high-performing engineering team capable of rapidly delivering customer integrations, internal applications, customer-facing portals, and analytics solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of software engineering leadership experience.
  • 5+ years managing development teams.
  • Experience leading Agile software organizations.
  • Experience with Microsoft development technologies.
  • Experience implementing Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with GitHub and CI/CD.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services.
  • Proven track record improving engineering delivery and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all software development, integration, BI, QA, and release management activities.
  • Build a high-accountability engineering culture.
  • Coach managers and senior engineers.
  • Establish Agile/Scrum practices.
  • Oversee sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and release planning.
  • Ensure work is properly prioritized and tracked in Jira.
  • Lead adoption of tools and engineering best practices.
  • Oversee Connect modernization strategy.
  • Partner with business leaders and project stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with software vendors and implementation partners.
  • Implement code review, testing, and release standards.
  • Establish engineering KPIs.
  • Improve documentation using Confluence.
