About The Position

The Director, Oracle Fusion Applications is accountable for the successful global implementation, adoption, and ongoing operation of the Oracle Fusion Cloud platform across Standex. This role serves as a critical bridge between IT and the business, partnering closely with functional leaders and executive leadership to ensure Oracle Fusion enables standardized, scalable, and value-driven business transformation. Beyond technical delivery, this role places significant emphasis on change management, organizational readiness, and business adoption. The Director ensures that global Oracle Fusion deployments are not only delivered on time and on budget, but are also embraced by the business, embedded into day-to-day operations, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in ERP delivery and enterprise applications leadership.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud, including configuration, solution design, or integrations.
  • Proven leadership of global, enterprise-wide Oracle Fusion implementations with significant organizational change.
  • Experience partnering directly with senior business leaders in Finance, Operations, and HR.
  • Strong track record leading ERP change management and adoption efforts in complex organizations.
  • Deep understanding of Oracle Fusion architecture, security model, quarterly release cadence, and integration patterns.
  • Strong functional expertise in at least two domains (e.g., Financials, SCM, Manufacturing, Procurement, Projects, HCM).
  • Experience integrating Oracle Fusion into broader enterprise ecosystems.
  • Exceptional executive communication and influence skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, manage resistance, and drive adoption across global teams.
  • Experience operating effectively in matrixed, multinational environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior role as Oracle Fusion Program Director, ERP Director, or equivalent enterprise transformation leader.
  • Experience integrating acquisitions into Oracle Fusion.
  • Background in regulated or public-company environments (SOX, global compliance).
  • Formal training or certification in Oracle Fusion and/or change management methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to global business leaders, including Business Unit Presidents, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Operations.
  • Translate business strategy, operating models, and functional requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.
  • Facilitate executive decision-making by clearly articulating trade-offs between standardization, localization, cost, risk, and speed.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to drive alignment, accountability, and shared ownership of ERP outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on ERP-enabled process transformation, not simply system functionality.
  • Lead the global rollout and expansion of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, including Financials, SCM, Manufacturing, Procurement, Projects, and related modules.
  • Own the Enterprise Oracle Fusion roadmap, including phased rollouts, regional deployments, post-merger integration, and future module adoption.
  • Establish and enforce global design and process standards, while managing justified exceptions for regulatory or operational needs.
  • Oversee data migration, integrations, reporting, and security in partnership with Enterprise Architecture and Data teams.
  • Own the enterprise change management strategy for Oracle Fusion implementations and enhancements.
  • Ensure business readiness through structured change plans covering communications, training, process redesign, role impacts, and adoption metrics.
  • Partner with functional leaders to drive behavioral change and adoption at all organizational levels.
  • Ensure go-lives are supported by effective hypercare, user enablement, and feedback loops.
  • Measure and continuously improve adoption, usability, and business outcomes post-implementation.
  • Build and lead a global Oracle Fusion support organization, combining internal teams and third-party support partners.
  • Refine and operate a tiered support model (L1–L3) with clear ownership, SLAs, and escalation paths.
  • Own Oracle Fusion release and change management, including quarterly updates, regression testing, business impact assessment, and readiness approvals.
  • Ensure platform stability, performance, and user satisfaction across regions and functions.
  • Serve as the primary executive interface with Oracle, systems integrators, and managed service providers.
  • Own partner strategy, selection, performance management, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure external partners align with internal governance, delivery standards, and change management expectations.
  • Establish strong ERP governance, including design authority, change control, and architecture oversight.
  • Ensure Oracle Fusion supports SOX, audit, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements globally.
  • Partner with Security, Infrastructure, and Compliance teams to ensure robust access, data protection, and auditability.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing global team of Oracle functional leads, technical experts, and support managers.
  • Set clear objectives, success metrics, and accountability across delivery and operations.
  • Foster a culture that values collaboration with the business, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement.
