About The Position
Sentara Health is now hiring an IT Director, Clinical Systems in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role oversees electronic health records (EHRs) and other clinical software, focusing on system management, workflow improvement, team leadership, regulatory compliance, and vendor and budget control. Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience (Required)
- Bachelor's degree (Preferred) or At least 8 years of relevant management experience in lieu of bachelor's degree
Responsibilities
- Oversee electronic health records (EHRs) and other clinical software to make sure they run smoothly.
- Find ways to make daily medical tasks faster and easier using technology.
- Manage IT staff, data analysts, and system administrators.
- Ensure all software and data handling meet healthcare laws and privacy rules.
- Choose software vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage the department budget.
