About The Position

The IT Developer Analyst role within the Shared Services Center is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software applications and scripts to automate data collection, processing, and analysis. This position involves integrating data from diverse sources, maintaining APIs, resolving code issues, and keeping existing software and databases up-to-date. The analyst will also conduct ad-hoc analyses, generate custom reports, and translate complex data into actionable insights for business users. A key aspect of the role includes cleaning, transforming, and analyzing large datasets, developing data models and dashboards, and ensuring network security through multi-factor authentication. The position also entails managing other projects as requested by the Director of IT and presenting data findings to various audiences.

Requirements

  • Strong programming and scripting skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or other relevant tools.
  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines for efficient data processing.
  • In-depth understanding of relational databases, with strong SQL skills for querying and optimizing data.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to support cloud-based application development.
  • Hands-on experience with APIs and web services development (REST, SOAP).
  • Expertise with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to present clear, actionable data insights.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Experience in version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of data security best practices, especially in handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, demonstrating the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.

  • Strong understanding of Active Directory and integration within enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in software development and data analysis
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and troubleshooting applications within an Active Directory environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C#.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license without restrictions that affects your ability to operate company owned vehicle(s) and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to drive to company locations.
  • Employees must be able to pass a drug/alcohol urinalysis.
  • Ability to set a positive example for others by consistently displaying servant leadership behaviors in daily actions and decisions.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automated testing) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement software applications and scripts to automate data collection, processing, and analysis.

  • Clearly and concisely present data findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
  • Manage other projects as requested by the Director of IT.
