About The Position

Client is seeking an IT Desktop Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support for service requests and incidents involving computer systems, software, hardware, and infrastructure. This role supports end users both onsite and remotely, troubleshooting issues, resolving tickets, and ensuring a high level of customer service. The technician will work with Microsoft-based environments, cloud applications, endpoint technologies, conference room systems, and IT infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support daily operations and technical initiatives.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Active Directory administration.
  • Familiarity with cloud applications such as Office 365 and Box.
  • Experience troubleshooting desktop hardware, software, operating systems, and peripheral devices.
  • Knowledge of remote support tools and remote connectivity methods.
  • Experience with device imaging and deployment server utilization.
  • Proficiency in time management, task prioritization, and handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, adapt to changing priorities, and operate independently as a self-starter.

Nice To Haves

  • Hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and support experience.
  • Basic Smart Hands and network configuration knowledge.
  • Experience with deployment servers and imaging technologies.
  • Basic knowledge management experience.
  • Exposure to Mac OS and Apple hardware support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide desktop support for computer systems, software, hardware, and infrastructure issues both onsite and remotely.
  • Administer Active Directory and support Microsoft Office applications, Office 365, and cloud-based tools.
  • Troubleshoot Cisco VPN connectivity, endpoint security issues, browser-related problems, and printer/driver installations.
  • Install, configure, and support Adobe products, Check Point endpoint client software, and standard desktop applications.
  • Perform device imaging, deployment, configuration, and asset lifecycle management activities.
  • Manage and update service requests and incidents through ServiceNow.
  • Support IP telephony devices, standard telephony deployments, and meeting room audio/display technologies.
  • Assist with onboarding activities, documentation management, customer scheduling, and end-user equipment moves.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support projects.
  • Perform Smart Hands activities including equipment installation, cable patching, server and network device reboots, power cycling, remote console access, and hardware deployment.
  • Support receiving, shipping, procurement, inventory management, and tracking of IT assets and equipment.
