About The Position
The Client is seeking a detail-oriented IT Deployment Technician to deliver, install, configure, and support laptops and technology assets across TDOT locations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus.
- Prior IT deployment, hardware installation, or related experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift/carry/push equipment up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure laptops, workstations, peripherals, and software.
- Maintain accurate equipment deployment and inventory records.
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues on-site and remotely.
- Provide professional customer service and communicate with end users and team members.
- Follow deployment safety procedures and maintain organized storage areas.
- Travel to TDOT sites across Tennessee; travel expenses reimbursed per state guidelines.
