This role combines hands-on analysis with leadership responsibilities, guiding a team while partnering closely with business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R)
  • Experience with BI tools such as Cognos Analytics, Power BI, Looker, or similar
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar modern data platforms
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality management
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of developing AI/ML models or advanced analytics techniques
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and basic machine learning techniques
  • Experience in Agile or fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end analytics projects from problem definition to insight delivery
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in data analysis, reporting, and visualization
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable analytical solutions
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, ensuring best practices in analytics and data quality
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data requirements and enhance data pipelines
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and compliance with data governance and regulatory standards
  • Establish and maintain data definitions, metadata standards, and data lineage frameworks
  • Support Data Governance initiatives by enforcing policies, standards, and stewardship practices
  • Enable AI and advanced analytics use cases by ensuring high-quality, well-governed, and accessible data
  • Communicate complex analytical insights, data standards, and governance principles effectively to stakeholders and leadership
