About The Position

The IT Data & Analytics Intern is a summer internship with Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA), based in the Portland, Oregon office. The TCCA Summer Internship Program lasts 10 to 12 weeks and gives undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to contribute to real-world business challenges. In 2027, the Data & Analytics team is focused on migrating Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain data into Microsoft Fabric. The intern will own a scoped piece of that work and collaborate with the team building the modern data environment. Depending on the intern’s skills and interests, work may include building and testing data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric; gathering business needs and documenting technical requirements; using SQL, and optionally Python, PySpark, or DAX, to create reusable data models; developing and publishing Power BI reports and dashboards; exploring AI agents for interacting with data; and supporting data governance, documentation, and quality validation. The internship offers hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, GitHub, Jira, and Confluence. The intern will have a mentor on the Data & Analytics team, regular meetings with a manager, and a clear project plan with checkpoints. The program also includes a final presentation to Data & Analytics and IT leadership, as well as cohort activities such as farmer-owner farm tours, product tastings, a cooking class, resume and interview workshops, and sales market tours. The role’s work helps create a central source of trusted data so business users can make decisions faster and more reliably.
