About The Position

This internship focuses on IT Data & Analytics in New York. The intern will work with users to understand data workflows and compile technical requirements for automated technology solutions. Responsibilities include writing SQL or Python code for data extraction, SSRS code for reports, developing PowerBI dashboards, and deploying and supporting solutions.

Requirements

• Demonstrated track record of academic and professional achievement
• Significant course work completed towards a Computer Science or equivalent degree, and/or other significant experience with Data Analysis
• Experience with Advanced Excel, MS SQL, Python preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highest degree of business ethics and professionalism
• Strong desire to learn and contribute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Working with users to understand data workflows and compile technical requirements to deliver an automated technology solution
• Writing SQL or Python code to extract data from HPS Data Warehouse
• Writing SSRS code for pixel perfect report outputs
• Developing interactive PowerBI Dashboards
• Deploying solutions for user groups and providing support once the solution is live
