This position is part of the Information Technology (IT) department located in Brea, CA and will be onsite. You will be a part of the Enterprise Data & AI Team and report to the Senior Manager responsible for data management and analytics development. Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or other relevant quantitative fields
- Experience with two or more of the following data science tools in your repertoire: SQL, SAS, R, Python, SPSS, data mining, etc.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with vector databases or semantic search concepts
- Experience with data catalog or data governance tools (e.g. Collibra, Atlan)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure tools
Responsibilities
- Supporting the build-out of an enterprise data catalog — profiling datasets, documenting business definitions, and labelling data so it is usable by both people and AI models.
- Engineering and testing features that improve the accuracy of machine learning and AI models across Finance, Service, and Supply Chain use cases.
- Designing and testing prompts for AI agents such as Claude Cowork — evaluating response quality and identifying failure cases.
