About The Position

HMGMA is the abbreviation of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. It is Hyundai Motor Group's first dedicated EV mass-production plant and is an innovative plant with cutting-edge production technology applied. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IT strategies, plans, and initiatives that align with business objectives. The specialist will work closely with IT SRE roles to design, build, and maintain resilient and efficient IT systems and services. A key responsibility is contributing to the development and implementation of IT security policies, procedures, and controls to protect organization assets and data. The role also includes participating in IT incident response activities, such as root cause identification, analysis, and resolution of incidents and vulnerabilities. Additionally, the specialist will utilize UX development experience to enhance user interfaces and experiences across IT systems and applications, and continuously learn and apply relevant software development practices, tools, and technologies. Staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT planning, operation, SRE, and security is also crucial.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Master’s degree preferred) in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 + years of experience in data analysis, AI/ML, or related fields.
  • Programming experience with Python (preferred), Java, SQL, ELK
  • Some familiarity with dev-ops tools: Git, Github, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience creating data products and dashboards in Grafana or Prometheus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects with complex requirements.
  • Strong command of the English language (written and spoken) is essential for safety, communication, documentation, and collaboration across the organization.

Responsibilities
