About The Position

SA Hospitality Group is seeking an IT Coordinator who is a quick learner, a strong and effective problem solver, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of tracking multiple projects and issues. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management and project management skills, be customer-oriented with a cool temperament, and have exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English. This role involves assisting IT personnel with projects, on-site work including wiring, and working around construction sites. The IT Coordinator will serve as a point of contact for user requests, perform remote troubleshooting, research and present solutions, and document all issues and resolutions in a ticketing system. Responsibilities include resolving desktop hardware and software issues, supporting VOIP/cloud-based phone systems, disassembling/reassembling computer equipment, troubleshooting networking issues, supporting mobile devices and remote users, and maintaining office technology like televisions and projectors. Daily tasks include maintenance of computers, printers, and other office equipment, maintaining inventory and technical documentation, and implementing preventative maintenance systems.

Requirements

  • Versed in Windows User administration
  • Versed in Microsoft Office Administration
  • Versed in Microsoft Active Directory
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • General trouble shooting skills - Able to design a solution to fix problems
  • Understand Networking Concepts: IP Addressing / Network Protocols
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter project plans as quickly as projects evolve
  • Understanding of TCP/IP Networking
  • Working knowledge of common office equipment, printers, faxes, projectors, televisions etc.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist IT personnel with projects, on-site work, including wiring
  • Work around construction
  • Serve as point of contact and respond to requests for assistance in person, over the phone, via email, and through an internal ticket system
  • Calmly perform troubleshooting by asking pertinent questions and performing diagnostics remotely
  • Research possible solutions and present the most likely solution
  • Perform the steps to resolve the problem or walk the manager through the steps
  • Record problems/events and their resolution in the ticketing system
  • Promptly follow-up and update users on the status of tickets and requests for information
  • Help resolve desktop hardware and software issues; should be experienced in common office applications
  • Support a VOIP/cloud-based phone systems
  • Disassemble/Reassemble computers, monitors, and associated equipment
  • Troubleshoot networking issues on wired and wireless networks
  • Help support mobile devices and remote users
  • Support other office technology, such as televisions, projectors, conference equipment etc.
  • Day-to-day maintenance of computers, printers and other office equipment
  • Maintain inventory and basic technical documentation
  • Implement preventative maintenance systems and troubleshooting procedures for users
