About The Position

Richard Milburn Academy seeks an IT Coordinator for the 2026/2027 School Year. This role involves administering, monitoring, and maintaining the client's IT infrastructure, responding to and troubleshooting system-generated incidents, evaluating problems, generating reports, interacting with assigned technicians, and closely observing problems until resolution.

Requirements

At least a College/Associates Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or any related course.
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
Knowledgeable with the Windows Ecosystem.
Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical person.
Can work under time pressure with minimal supervision.
Flexible to work on other tasks assigned.
Highly organized with attention to details, know how to follow instructions.
Ability to become the ultimate team-player: Does well and peers well with the team, while still being able to perform well individually.
Capability to provide on-call support during escalations and emergencies and travel between work sites.
Basic Knowledge of Windows Server and Windows Systems.
Basic Computer Repair skills (able to swap out bad components in computers).
Basic Networking Knowledge (able to troubleshoot no Internet situations for computers and Printers).
Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office (able to setup Outlook and troubleshoot Excel formulas).

Responsibilities

Provide level 1 support for both internal and external clients.
Troubleshoot issues by using the organization’s knowledge base and other resources available.
Generate necessary reports required by the IT department and/or the client.
Monitor, respond, and troubleshoot alerts generated by the system and/or reported by the client.
Handle escalation and coordination with solutions engineers or its technical counterpart.
