About The Position

The IT Consultant II is a technical member of the SparkNav Managed Services team responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting IT solutions across client environments. This role provides advanced technical support, assists with system deployments, and supports escalation troubleshooting within managed client infrastructures. The IT Consultant II collaborates with internal technical teams, clients, and vendors to ensure systems are deployed, maintained, and supported effectively. While this role may assist with implementation activities as needed, the primary focus is executing technical work, resolving complex issues, and maintaining service delivery standards. Success in this role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and deploy IT infrastructure solutions based on established technical standards and client requirements
  • Assist with system implementations, technology rollouts, and infrastructure updates across client environments as assigned by the IT Consultant III or Manager, IT Consulting
  • Ensure deployed solutions integrate properly within client networks and systems
  • Provide advanced technical support for complex issues escalated from the service desk or internal technical teams
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and system issues across client environments
  • Complete escalated tickets assigned to the IT Consultant team, including onsite client support when necessary
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers when specialized support is required
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to support team member development and overall team capability
  • Assist with technical planning and implementation support as directed by technical leadership
  • Perform testing and validation of deployed systems to ensure stability and functionality
  • Conduct system checks to confirm configurations meet technical and operational standards
  • Communicate with clients regarding technical issues, service updates, and troubleshooting progress
  • Maintain positive working relationships with client stakeholders during service delivery activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and technical activities
  • Update technical documentation and internal knowledge bases as required
  • Support continuous improvement of technical processes and service delivery standards
  • Additional duties as assigned
