About The Position

This position is part of a job family (Infrastructure Consultant and Senior Infrastructure Consultant) where experience will be the determining factor. The Infrastructure Consultant for the Cloud Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure for the corporation, carrying both operational and strategic responsibilities. The Cloud Platform Engineer collaborates with development teams to deploy and maintain cloud-based applications and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of IT infrastructure experience
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field
- 2+ years of Azure and/or AWS development experience
- Azure, AWS, Azure DevOps, Terraform IaC, FinOps, CI/CD Pipelines, or CNAPP experience
- Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Backup, AWS EC2 instances, AWS Storage, or AWS Backup experience
- Production support experience with large enterprise applications
Responsibilities
- Provision virtual machines and storage based resources in the cloud
- Provision backup and patch management of server based resources in the cloud
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for managing and provisioning cloud based resources
- Maintain and govern library for IaC shared modules
- Collaborate with on-premise infrastructure teams to align infrastructure standards
- Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis for cloud infrastructure
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call support role on a rotating basis
