About The Position

TSMC Arizona is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Client Services Engineer to deliver reliable, secure, and high-quality IT services and technical support to end users across the organization. This role focuses on the deployment, administration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of end-user computing technologies, including PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and meeting room / collaboration systems. The engineer will work closely with users, IT infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to resolve technical issues, deliver IT projects, improve service quality, and drive standardization and automation across the client environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT client services, endpoint computing, desktop engineering, workplace technology, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows PC and laptop hardware, operating systems, peripherals, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience supporting mobile devices and enterprise mobility environments.
  • Experience with printer deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting meeting rooms, video conferencing, or collaboration technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues across hardware, software, network, and application layers.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and manage projects in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
  • This role requires the ability to work across office, clean-room, and data center environments, performing tasks that range from standard office duties to specialized operations in controlled spaces, including the ability to occasionally stand, walk, reach, bend, and carry light objects.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse and other standard office equipment for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to wear clean-room suit while standing and/or walking in the FAB as needed.
  • Ability to complete occasional local travel requirements.
  • Candidates must be willing and able to work on-site at our Phoenix Arizona facility.

Responsibilities

  • Support Windows operating systems, endpoint configurations, software deployment, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, endpoint, connectivity, and application issues.
  • Support large-scale PC/NB deployment, refresh, migration, and technology lifecycle programs.
  • Manage device provisioning, enrollment, configuration, security policies, application deployment, replacement, and lifecycle activities for corporate smartphones, tablets, and other mobile computing devices.
  • Support MDM and enterprise mobility initiatives while ensuring compliance with corporate security standards.
  • Coordinate device deployment and support activities with external vendors and service providers.
  • Manage enterprise printers, multifunction devices, scanners, related peripherals and backend servers across the site.
  • Perform printer deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
  • Coordinate with vendors and system integrators for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service improvement.
  • Monitor service performance and identify opportunities to improve availability and cost efficiency.
  • Partner with AV and collaboration technology vendors to deliver reliable and standardized meeting room solutions.
  • Perform installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting and lifecycle management of meeting room technology.
  • Support meeting room technology upgrades, expansions, and new site deployments.
  • Lead or participate in IT technology deployment and infrastructure projects across manufacturing and office environments.
  • Support new building, facility, and workspace deployments, including endpoint, mobile, printing, and collaboration technologies.
  • Coordinate project activities across IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
  • Support technology rollouts while minimizing operational impact to manufacturing and business operations.
  • Work with external vendors, system integrators, and managed service providers to deliver IT services and projects.
  • Evaluate technical solutions, service quality, and vendor performance.
