About The Position

RAYUS Radiology is looking for an IT Client Device Engineer to join their team. This role is responsible for the implementation and optimization of enterprise-scale automation for client devices across the healthcare organization. The position collaborates with clinical, cybersecurity, and infrastructure groups to ensure seamless deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of all end-user devices, including workstations, laptops, tablets, and mobile platforms, while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, security, and operational reliability in a clinical environment.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other closely related field.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in client device engineering or endpoint automation.
  • Two (2) years’ experience managing enterprise-scale deployments using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune/MECM/SCCM), JAMF Pro, or equivalent.
  • One (1) year experience in troubleshooting with advanced client devices, both hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Experience in scripting languages, such as PowerShell.
  • Experience working with clinical workstations, thin clients, or shared device environments.
  • Experience managing deployments and configuration of internally developed software packages.
  • Experience managing drivers across a variety of device models and platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and network access control systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other closely related field.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in client device engineering or endpoint automation in a healthcare or highly regulated environment.
  • Certifications in relevant platforms (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft InTune, ITIL, Foundation, CompTIA A+).

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows for provisioning and configuring client devices (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) across the healthcare organization.
  • Manage gold images, create and troubleshoot custom task sequences.
  • Create, package, and deploy software using modern tools and techniques to ensure scalability, reliability, and minimal user disruption.
  • Manage and support enterprise endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune, MECM/SCCM, and Maas360.
  • Support and plan for the transition of client device automation from MECM/SCCM to InTune.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for device automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to device provisioning, authentication, and application delivery.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of processes, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in on-call support and assist with endpoint-related incident response as needed.
  • Serve as a key escalation point for complex endpoint issues, including those impacting clinical operations.
  • Ensure alignment of automation solutions with healthcare compliance and cybersecurity standards.
  • Collaborate with clinical IT, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to define and maintain standardized device images and configurations.
  • Automate key tasks, including patch management, software deployment, and device inventory/reporting.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
