About The Position

IT Business Systems Analyst II is responsible to gather client intake requirements, analyze and document technical solutions, administer life-cycle changes, and execute software quality assurance practices related to personalization services and production systems. Proven ability to quickly understand functional expectations, transform client’s required features into technical specifications, and test system deliverables to ensure high quality outcome is achieved. A results-driven and collaborative team player, strong logical capabilities, and data analysis expertise are key to success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Math, or Software Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience; or an Associate Degree with 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting requirements analysis and defining technical software solutions, preferably using Atlassian toolset (Confluence, and Jira).
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with client-facing requirements gathering, and producing software-based technical documentation.
  • High level of computer competency in Microsoft Office Products (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Visio).
  • Results-driven consultative style with strong logical capabilities and analytical skillset.
  • Proficient in documenting technical design specifications and administering request management life-cycle.
  • Fluent with technical processes and nomenclature, and disciplined approach to reporting/tracking metrics.
  • Well-developed competence using Atlassian products, especially Confluence and Jira workflows.
  • Prior programming background with ability to create, understand, and run SQL ad-hoc query scripts and reports.
  • Expertise in preparing validation test plans, including use-case preparation, and issue resolution.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of IT SDLC and STLC best practice methods is preferred.
  • ITIL certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and Supply Chain Management operational concepts.
  • SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Align solution designs with client requirements.
  • Produce technical documentation artifacts using Atlassian tools (Confluence and Jira).
  • Ensure initial solution designs and end-to-end life cycle change events are properly defined and communicated to development teams.
  • Create template-based requirements documents, software testing plans, and requirements traceability use-cases.
  • Conduct administrative activities in Jira, including logging, status tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Facilitate, document, administer, and publish technical change releases.
  • Produce change-related documentation, ensuring solutions align with system capabilities.
  • Confirm project scope for client solutions, identify gaps, explain solution options, make recommendations, and communicate effectively to resolve issues during solution design and delivery.
  • Communicate scope changes, enhancements, and modifications to agreed requirements both verbally and written, to project managers, sponsors, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and execute detailed requirements documents, and facilitate test plans, use-cases, and protocols.
  • Assist project team during resolution of non-conformances.
  • Coordinate actions for effective release management, including tracking and scheduling deployments, and obtaining prior approvals.
  • Provide IT incident resolution oversight, including first-time-right, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Use and improve standard templates to maintain requirements documentation.
  • Manage competing priorities across multiple organizational areas to reconcile/reset/reduce schedule impacts.
  • Contribute to feasibility studies, Statement of Work (SOW) and RFP/RFI responses, certifications, audits, etc.
  • Adhere to company policies, follow department procedures and standard practices, and respect guidelines governing privacy, physical security, and information security.
  • Balance a sense of urgency against measured thinking and attention to detail.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times with good communication skills as a team player.
  • Display reliable work habits, including collaborative attitude, punctual attendance, and appropriate dress.
  • Perform other duties as required.
