IT & Business Systems Administrator

ConnicoCincinnati, OH
$65,000 - $80,000Hybrid

About The Position

Connico is seeking an IT & Business Systems Administrator to serve as a key internal resource for employee technology support, business systems, and cybersecurity compliance. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving everyday technology problems while also working with the systems and processes that support Connico’s project teams. You’ll manage routine employee technology and device needs, administer SharePoint and other business systems, coordinate with external technology partners, and help carry out Connico’s CMMC cybersecurity requirements. You do not need to arrive as an expert in every system or compliance framework we use. We’re looking for someone with a strong IT foundation, sound troubleshooting judgment, and the ability to learn new systems and take on greater technical depth as they become familiar with Connico’s operations.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, software development, technical coordination, or a related role.
  • Strong experience supporting Windows devices, Microsoft 365, software installations, user accounts, access, and common connectivity issues.
  • Working experience administering SharePoint or a comparable document-management environment.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, and access management.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot routine technology issues and determine when escalation is appropriate.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple support needs.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical employees.
  • Curiosity and demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Monday.com, Deltek Ajera, or comparable business systems.
  • Experience or exposure to SQL, relational databases, dashboards, or reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, or another cybersecurity compliance framework.
  • Experience with compliance documentation, access reviews, audit support, or system-security records.
  • Experience coordinating with outsourced IT providers, cybersecurity consultants, or software vendors.
  • Experience with workflow automation or process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Connico’s primary internal resource for Tier 1 technology support, resolving routine issues involving connectivity, account access, Microsoft 365, software, printing, peripherals, and other everyday technology needs.
  • Manage employee technology onboarding and offboarding, including device setup and recovery, software installation, accounts, permissions, security groups, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Maintain company devices and coordinate updates, endpoint security, backups, repairs, upgrades, replacements, refresh cycles, and secure disposal.
  • Maintain device, software-license, warranty, and assignment records and support renewals and inventory management.
  • Coordinate with Connico’s external IT consultant and technology vendors when additional expertise is needed and track issues through resolution.
  • Administer SharePoint, including user access, permissions, document libraries, site structure, document organization, synchronization, and routine maintenance.
  • Support Connico’s business systems, including Monday.com and Deltek Ajera, with user access, project setup, boards, forms, workflows, and system configuration.
  • Build greater proficiency with system automations and integrations and help improve internal project-management workflows.
  • Support reporting needs and develop or maintain SQL-based reports and dashboards as proficiency with Connico’s systems grows.
  • Partner with Connico’s Digital Transformation team and other stakeholders to identify system and process improvements.
  • Carry out Connico’s established CMMC and cybersecurity requirements, with support from leadership and external cybersecurity consultants as needed.
  • Support and monitor secured devices, employee accounts, access requirements, endpoint controls, and recurring security checks.
  • Maintain required compliance records and evidence and follow identified issues through remediation.
  • Support recurring CMMC activities, internal and external assessments, and audit readiness.
  • Report suspected security incidents or policy deviations and help reinforce secure technology practices across the organization.
  • Developing more advanced workflows, automations, integrations, reports, and dashboards.
  • Creating user guides, FAQs, technology documentation, and cybersecurity training resources.
  • Supporting employee technology education and following up on recurring training or support needs.
  • Maintaining Connico’s intranet and homepage and coordinating approved public website updates.
