About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks an IT Business Lead Analyst for its New York, NY location. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders such as traders, risk management, and regulatory control to gather, analyze, and define business requirements. The analyst will be responsible for developing and documenting Business Requirements Documents (BRD) using various tools like Mind map, Confluence, UML, and Microsoft Office Suite. Participation in change management processes is crucial to control project scope and timelines effectively. Regular communication with business users, developers, and QA teams via platforms like Teams, Zoom, and Symphony is required to ensure requirements are addressed throughout the project lifecycle. The position also entails participating in requirement walkthroughs, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release notes publishing. The IT Business Lead Analyst will assist in designing system solutions based on business requirements, providing clear functional specifications for the development team, and utilizing Jira Sprint board to organize requirements and task status. Close collaboration with developers is essential to ensure technical solutions align with defined business needs and standards. The role also ensures that the final delivered system complies with regulatory requirements (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank) and internal standards. Support for the QA team during the testing phase, conducting UAT with business users, and ensuring system readiness for production are also key. Regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, and issues, along with assisting in creating project documentation and deliverables, are part of the responsibilities. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation conducting risk assessments and providing accurate solutions.
  • Six (6) years of experience must include: Utilizing Fixed Income Electronic Trading to gather and analyze business requirements for electronic trading platforms.
  • Six (6) years of experience must include: Performing integration with trading workflows and optimizing execution strategies.
  • Six (6) years of experience must include: Conducting risk assessments and providing accurate solutions by ensuring all Pre and Post-Trade checks (Price and Size) are implemented correctly and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements for FINRA, MIFiD, TRACE etc.
  • Six (6) years of experience must include: Utilizing Fixed Income Electronic Trading, Financial Information eXchange protocol, and algorithmic execution systems for troubleshooting, optimizing workflows, and initiative designing.
  • Six (6) years of experience must include: Writing user stories and utilizing Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for trading technology projects.

Responsibilities
