About The Position

Every day, our experienced team performs diverse and complex tasks at our headquarters in Houston, Texas, to ensure that individual orders are completed professionally and on time, and that the functionality and quality of our products is being continuously improved. The IT Business Applications Analyst will evaluate, implement, and support software applications to meet organizational needs, bridging the gap between business and technical teams. The purpose is to maximize business productivity by optimizing, configuring, and maintaining applications, troubleshooting system issues, and automating processes to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in: Business analysis, IT software development and/or support, or application management
  • Familiar with business process analysis and frameworks.
  • Comfortable working with enterprise resource planning and unit testing.
  • A critical thinker and problem solver.
  • Employment will be dependent on the candidate successfully passing a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationships with vendors, partner teams, and enterprise customers.
  • Review the status of projects and issues with project leadership.
  • Develop new processes and procedures to meet current challenges.
  • Work independently and with business users to analyze and resolve system related problems.
  • Analyze business processes and associate them with software deliverables.
  • Update existing documentation where available, develop new documentation as required.
  • Assist system support on technical issues with data or analytics.
  • Participate in developing documentation and participate in training and work with end users.
  • Provide end-user production support for issues entered into systems.
  • Lead and participate in ad hoc committees, operational task forces, and recruiting efforts.
  • Assist departments in identifying problems and providing alternative and innovative solutions.
  • Gather requirements and design the most accurate and efficient solution possible.
  • Participate in the change control process and document appropriately.
  • Create reports and write queries in support of business teams.
  • Responsible for independent development and configuration of assigned applications.
  • Design solutions for business users and prepare the appropriate documentation.
  • Plan and coordinate downtime, change management, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Serve as the project manager for new or planned software implementations.
