About The Position

The Intermediate Business Analyst is responsible for discovering, synthesizing, and analyzing information from a variety of sources within an enterprise, including tools, processes, documentation, and stakeholders. They are responsible for eliciting and documenting the actual needs of stakeholders to determine underlying issues and causes. They enable more complex change by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value while considering the business implications of technology within the current operating environment. They also help ensure solutions align with stakeholder needs through an in-depth understanding of business systems, processes, industry requirements, and emerging digital trends. Intermediate Business Analysts may lead complex initiatives and provide guidance to less-experienced Business Analysts. We are looking for an Intermediate Business Analyst to join our Business Solutions Group in Halifax, NS. As the most modern shipyard in North America, Irving Shipbuilding is defined by its pace and appetite for change. This will mean jumping right in, taking ownership, and leading the charge even if the way forward is not always clear.   • Must meet requirements for Canadian Government Security clearance.
