About The Position

The Intermediate Business Systems Analyst acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, supporting and enhancing critical business applications. The role combines business analysis, application support, process improvement, testing, and governance activities to ensure systems effectively meet business, regulatory, and operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience, preferably in IT or a business area discipline.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in business analysis.
  • 2-4 years of industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements.
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Perform hands-on application configuration and data-processing activities, translating business requirements into controlled system, data-processing, and operational changes.
  • Create and maintain process flows, business procedures, and system documentation.
  • Support Business Applications through incident analysis, issue resolution, testing, and enhancement activities.
  • Analyze data quality, reporting, and process issues and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with vendors, developers, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver solutions.
  • Develop and execute test scenarios and support user acceptance testing.
  • Support audits, access reviews, compliance activities, and application governance processes.
  • Maintain application knowledge and identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between business users and technology teams.
