The IT Business Analyst serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into technical requirements and actionable solutions. This role partners with departments across the organization to understand processes, identify challenges, gather and document requirements, and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, reduce risk, and support organizational goals. By analyzing data, workflows, and business objectives, the IT Business Analyst will help ensure that technology investments deliver measurable value and align with strategic priorities. In addition to requirements gathering and process analysis, the IT Business Analyst plays a key role throughout the project lifecycle by collaborating with project managers, developers, vendors, and end users to define functional requirements, define acceptance criteria, support testing efforts, facilitate communication, and ensure successful solution adoption. The role also supports project prioritization work, managing stakeholder expectations, validating that delivered solutions meet business needs and identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
