About The Position

A TEKsystems client is seeking an IT Business Analyst for a long-term contract (12 months). This role is responsible for analyzing hardware and software assets to determine upgrades and installations that will enhance employee and process productivity. The analyst will perform cost/benefit analyses and align technology with company business strategies and goals. This position is based in Atlanta, GA and is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary intake lead for new business requests, partnering with stakeholders to understand business challenges, clarify objectives, and document high-level business requirements.
Facilitate the work intake and prioritization process by evaluating incoming requests, assessing business value and dependencies, and maintaining a transparent, prioritized backlog.
Collaborate with technical leads and solution architects to translate business needs into high-level solution designs, identify delivery approaches, and develop effort estimates.
Own and maintain the product/program roadmap, ensuring alignment between business priorities, technical capacity, and strategic objectives.
Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams, driving clear communication, expectation management, and decision-making throughout the request lifecycle.
Manage the team’s customer-facing "front door" function, providing timely updates on request status, priorities, timelines, and key decisions.
Coordinate cross-functional discussions to identify risks, dependencies, and resource requirements, enabling informed prioritization and planning.
Produce executive-ready summaries, intake assessments, roadmap updates, and status communications to support governance and stakeholder alignment.
