The Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Finance, Technology, & Analytics Administration (FTAA) is seeking an IT Business Analyst for the Division of Information Technology (DIT) Business Services team. This role will support the accurate and timely delivery of software requirement specification artifacts, documenting new or modified system requirements including business, user, functional, and non-functional requirements. The position will provide support and problem resolution for the Automated Client Eligibility System (ACES) and its associated applications, databases, and projects, including eJAS, Washington Connection, Benefit Verification System, and the Eligibility Service. The Business Analyst will leverage knowledge of ACES system functionality, business analysis, the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), IT project management, and State and Federal statutes, policies, and regulations for public assistance programs. Responsibilities include quality assurance, troubleshooting, problem resolution, leading efforts for automated solutions, and applying project management skills for large-scale projects. A hybrid telework schedule may be considered. This project opportunity is expected to last until 06/30/2027.
