About The Position

The Business Analyst I is responsible for delivering quality customer service and performing daily task management and support. The areas of responsibility include completion of assigned tasks to integrate acquisitions, implement application software, and maintain existing applications. In addition, they maintain existing documentation for system processes and procedures. This position must coordinate and communicate with other IS resources who are assigned to support application issues and project tasks. They also work with vendors on application issues and act as a liaison between users and vendors to develop requests for additional reports and/or features. The Business Analyst I works under the direction of more senior business contacts. Occasionally, the analyst is assigned larger and more complex projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of general Information Systems / SDLC experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting medium to high complexity projects
  • Minimum of 1 year of Oracle application experience
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Lead collaborations with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional requirements
  • Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with development teams
  • Lead system configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities
  • Support implementation of new functionality and enhancements to existing applications
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams
  • Create and maintain process flows, technical documentation, and test cases
  • Organize and support user acceptance testing (UAT), including approval collection and change control documentation
  • Ensure timely and professional response to issues reported through the Solution Center, following incident management protocols
  • Identify and recommend updates to policies and procedures
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement activities
  • Monitor and report security issues related to unauthorized data access
  • Support disaster recovery planning and documentation when changes occur
  • Ensure compliance with change management policies and procedures
  • Provide on-call support as required
  • Perform assigned tasks, projects, and responsibilities within established deadlines
