About The Position

The Global Markets Post-Trade IT team is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for Fixed Income, Equity/Securities Lending, and Credit Trading applications. Our responsibilities encompass both operational support (functional and technical) and project-related initiatives. The team engages in various phases of application development, including user needs assessment, analysis, design, implementation, delivery, support, and maintenance, all within an Agile framework. We are seeking an Front Office IT Business Analyst specializing in the Equities Booking and Post-Trade domain, particularly in areas such as Equity Derivatives and Securities Lending. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Front Office mainly, as well as the support functions. He/She/They will provide support to end users and manage projects ranging from small enhancements to large-scale initiatives, including business expansion, P&L, risk, regulatory, and operational evolutions, as well as strategic efforts aimed at modernizing legacy applications.

Requirements

  • Specializing in the Equities Booking and Post-Trade domain, particularly in areas such as Equity Derivatives and Securities Lending.
  • Experience in collaborating closely with the Front Office and support functions.
  • Experience in providing support to end users.
  • Experience in managing projects ranging from small enhancements to large-scale initiatives.
  • Experience in business expansion, P&L, risk, regulatory, and operational evolutions.

  • Experience in conducting and documenting impact and gap analyses.

  • Experience in defining and executing test scripts.
  • Experience in coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Experience in project scoping and planning, progress reporting, and the identification and management of issues and risks.
  • Experience in providing day-to-day support for Booking, Risks and Back Office applications, including booking, risk and P&L, straight-through processing, settlement, clearing, reporting, and accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with user representatives (traders, risk, operations personnel, etc.) to gather and document business requirements.
  • Conduct and document impact and gap analyses.
  • Evaluate IT solutions to determine the best fit for business needs.
  • Develop detailed functional specifications for IT development teams.
  • Define and execute test scripts.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Engage in project scoping and planning, progress reporting, and the identification and management of issues and risks, ensuring effective communication throughout.
  • Provide day-to-day support for Booking, Risks and Back Office applications, including booking, risk and P&L, straight-through processing, settlement, clearing, reporting, and accounting.
