This position will be with National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE with a hybrid 50% in the office work environment. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship. Requirements

  • Three or more years related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Insurance coverages and rating schemes and insurance products.
  • Someone with a technical background who has a strong understanding of information systems and development operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of property casualty rating and policy coverages and endorsements.
  • Experience working in application lifecycle management tools such as DevOps, JIRA, or Rally.
  • SQL knowledge.
  • Excellent oral and written communication with all levels of the organization and individuals outside of the organization, including vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the coaching, mentorship, and skill development of team members.
  • Organize workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing forums to foster a culture of continuous skill development within the team.
  • Advance the product and technical maturity within teams and across the department by collaborating with product owners, business analysts, engineers, architects, and others involved.
  • Ensure standards and best practices are implemented and followed within the team to provide solutions' consistency, readability, and maintainability.
