About The Position

The Canadian Branch Infrastructure team is a key part of Branch & Infrastructure Technology Solutions within the Servicing & Digital Enablement Platform. This team supports Retail Branches by collaborating with the Retail Business and other teams on new technologies and updates, providing retail lab test devices, and evaluating/recommending new technology for retail branches. The team manages these initiatives from conception through testing to production rollout. As an IT Build Analyst, you will be an integral part of this team, assisting retail partners with their hardware requests in the Creekside Lab. Your responsibilities will include provisioning, setup, and guidance to ensure successful and timely testing. You will also conduct Stability Analysis to ensure changes do not negatively impact other applications on the retail platform. Additionally, you will support the network team with testing various network configurations in the retail environment.

Requirements

Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
3-5 years relevant experience.
Experience in the Canadian retail banking environment, financial services or customer‑focused service industries.
Commitment to staying abreast of industry and business trends.
Readiness to serve as a technology, trends and processes "go-to" resource.
Ability to work with stakeholders to configure, upgrade and administer business applications and systems of moderate to high complexity, under minimal management supervision.
Strong ability to perform problem determination, including data gathering and analysis.
Great comfort-level acting as a reference for team or clients.
Ability to develop scripts to address gaps in the application/system, to simplify and enhance the application and system environment.

Responsibilities

Assist retail partners with retail hardware requests in the Creekside Lab, including provisioning and setup.
Provide guidance to partners to ensure testing is completed successfully, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
Perform Stability Analysis to ensure changes do not adversely impact other applications on the retail platform.
Provide support to the network team for testing various network configurations in the retail environment.
Build and deploy base infrastructure components (e.g., servers, operating systems, middleware) for all environments.
Maintain base infrastructure components and work with third parties to report and resolve problems.
Monitor system lifecycles, ensure specifications and functionality support objectives and architecture decisions, and redevelop when necessary.
Conduct research, build solutions, and maintain documentation.
Provide quality service and solutions to clients by promptly communicating, escalating, and resolving issues.
Design, review, and integrate application requirements (functional, security, integration, performance, quality, operations, etc.).
Help evolve the base infrastructure and operational environment, and deploy new technologies.
Use metrics to monitor environment performance and identify ways to boost performance and resource utilization.
Execute test plans, monitor, report results, and resolve issues, including application and data, cross-capability, and cross-release issues.
Maintain secure computing facilities and technical infrastructure and architecture.
Adhere to necessary processes/standards, business technology architecture, risk, and production capacity guidelines.
Follow disaster and business recovery plan standards, policies, and procedures.
Gain knowledge of TD services, applications, infrastructure, analytical tools and techniques, and industry trends.
Embrace teamwork to resolve critical service issues.
