About The Position

Golden Star Technology (GST) is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of IT infrastructure, low-voltage, audiovisual (AV), unified communications, and technology deployment projects. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to scope. The ideal candidate has strong experience coordinating multiple projects, conducting site surveys and on-site project visits, managing project documentation, tracking schedules, and supporting cross-functional technical teams. Experience within the IT, AV, structured cabling, low-voltage, or technology integration industry is highly preferred.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Coordination, Project Management, Account Management, or a similar role supporting enterprise technology projects.
  • Experience managing or coordinating IT, AV, audiovisual, low-voltage, structured cabling, network infrastructure, or technology deployment projects.
  • Experience conducting site surveys, field assessments, job walks, and on-site project visits.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, scheduling, documentation, and resource coordination.
  • Experience working with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and cross-functional technical teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience tracking project budgets, schedules, deliverables, and project risks.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification or formal project management training is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage multiple IT, AV, and technology projects from initiation through completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Conduct site surveys, field assessments, and on-site project visits to gather requirements, evaluate project readiness, and support successful execution.
  • Participate in project kickoff meetings and assist with project planning activities.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, budgets, risks, and action items.
  • Coordinate project resources, subcontractors, vendors, and equipment deliveries.
  • Monitor project performance to ensure scope, quality, budget, and timeline objectives are achieved.
  • Collect, document, and manage business and technical requirements.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, change requests, closeout packages, and final project deliverables.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and support project acceptance processes.
  • Facilitate project status meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate end-user training and project handoffs as needed.
