About The Position

The In-N-Out Burger IT Project Management Office team has an excellent opportunity for an IT Project Coordinator, located in the Irvine, CA office. The IT Project Coordinator will report directly to the IT PMO Manager and help to coordinate and support smaller, internal IT projects, or assist on larger projects by managing tasks, facilitating communication, tracking progress, and working closely with technical teams to ensure projects meet timelines and customer needs. This role is based full-time in office.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of In-N-Out Burger Store or Support experience required.
  • Previous or Current employment with In-N-Out Burger highly preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in project coordination, project support, or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of project lifecycle concepts, including scope, timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables.
  • Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project management practices.
  • Experience with or exposure to project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Asana, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively across teams, and adapt to changing project needs.
  • Comfortable learning and working with new technology, systems, and processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Store leadership experience preferred, including experience as a Shift Manager, Store Trainer, All Star, or similar role.
  • bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, support and manage smaller IT projects from initiation through closeout, supporting scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables in accordance with IT PMO standards.
  • Support Agile and Waterfall project activities, including sprint planning, scrum meetings, project schedules, and task tracking.
  • Lead and facilitate project meetings, document key decisions and action items, and follow up with project teams to support timely completion.
  • Partner with technical leads and cross-functional teams to track project risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes, escalating when appropriate.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including Project Charters, Change Orders, RFI/RFP materials, rollout documentation, and training guides.
  • Maintain project information and team coordination through tools such as Jira, Asana, and Confluence.
  • Identify opportunities to improve PMO processes, tools, and project delivery practices.
