Must be able to remain in a stationary sitting position for at least 75% of the time. Must be able to lift at least 15 lbs– specific job duties may require additional lifting to move, transport, position and install equipment. Frequently positions self to bend and lift packages. Occasional moving & lifting of equipment; bending, lifting, climbing required to position self to maintain computers during engagements. Person in position needs to occasionally move about the inside of the office to access machinery, cabinets, etc. Person in position frequently communicates with individuals who have inquiries. Must be able to exchange information in these situations. Ability to work in a high stress environment. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are required including a clean driving record. Minimum levels of auto insurance coverage are required. Ability to travel locally, work overtime and weekends is required. Ability to travel overnight or internationally may be required.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years' experience performing and supervising IT Audits, Technology Risk Assessments, or IT internal control risk evaluation and reporting
  • Supervising staff and providing written and verbal performance feedback
  • Experience leading teams with the ability to both serve and inspire others; skilled at developing team members and creating an environment of engagement and camaraderie.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills combined with high personal integrity.
  • An ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships at all levels both within and outside the firm.
  • Ability to listen, consider diverse options, and bring clarity and alignment where needed to enable team effectiveness in support of a common goal

Responsibilities

  • Participate in cybersecurity assessments for companies in a variety of industries using commonly implemented frameworks (HIPAA, SOC, HITRUST, NIST, etc.), which evaluate the strength of business process controls and information technology general controls
  • Develop working relationships with client executives and project managers in the performance of our work
  • Manage teams of staff on multiple projects that focus in the technology, financial services, and healthcare industries, with small to medium size companies
  • Collaborate with other managers in our Cybersecurity practice regarding client management activities, networking activities, leadership activities, and staff development activities
  • Engage in practice development activities with prospective clients and other networking activities
  • Assist the firm in developing new tools and services related to emerging trends in data privacy and governance
  • Engage in training to further your career development
  • Lead training of staff on the job and in internally developed training activities
  • Managing and executing IT Audits (test of design, test of operative effectiveness) in a collaborative team setting in support of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting for compliance with various regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, FDICIA, JSOX) as an external or internal auditor.
  • Performing and/or managing Information Technology (IT) Audits (e.g., system development, incident response, business continuity, etc.) and Security Assessments in various industries including Financial Services, Services Industry, Public Sector, Healthcare and Manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of information security frameworks including COBIT, CSI, NIST, ISO, etc. and associated risk assessment approaches
  • Managing multiple client projects, and teams with responsibilities over the full project lifecycle including scoping, budgeting, resourcing, leading client discussions, providing quality assurance of engagement deliverables, and interactions with client stakeholders.
  • Training and guiding team members on IT Audit concepts through formal training and on-job training
  • Attending and presenting at professional conference events to support ongoing team growth
  • Contributing to internal firm initiatives including recruiting, seeking efficiencies in client delivery, and exploring new technologies to support internal and external projects
  • Engage in practice development activities with prospective clients and other networking activities
  • Assist the firm in developing new tools and services related to emerging trends in IT audit and security
