About The Position

We are seeking a Part Time IT Associate to support our team with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Help Desk and Desk Side Support. The ideal candidate will be proactive, willing to learn, and actively seeking to improve themselves, the team, and the company. Weekly hours will not routinely exceed 30 hours per week and will most likely be 24 hours per week / 48 hours per pay period.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support to users, addressing technical issues and ensuring optimal computer and peripheral functionality.
  • Create, modify, and delete user accounts for the network and specialty software, ensuring appropriate access levels.
  • Add, modify, and remove users from security groups to maintain compliance with company policies.
  • Create access badges and review campus access control systems as needed to enhance security.
  • Maintain asset control spreadsheets to track hardware and software inventory.
  • Assist in the phased replacement of hardware and track life cycle statuses.
  • Engage in network and physical security initiatives, contributing to the overall safety of our IT environment.
  • Participate in continuing education for new technologies, changes to technologies used by, or evaluate use case for Diagnostic Solutions Lab. Make recommendations for or against use based on company growth, process change, efficiency, or financial gain.
