About The Position

We are looking for a talented IT Associate to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Cummins Inc. facility in Columbus, IN. In this role, you will make an impact by developing, updating, and administering departmental databases, wikis, websites, systems, security status, and technical libraries. You will assist with platform migrations, participate in application certification processes, and monitor and audit function-related activities. This role also involves supporting functional department training and communication, setting up and maintaining workstations, and providing expert support for departmental databases, technologies, websites, and technical libraries. You will troubleshoot functionality and interfaces, participate in the development of new technologies, and develop web and wiki pages. Additionally, you may provide installation, set-up, and technical support for systems, including global data maintenance and support. The role includes coordinating financial activities, tracking charges, interfacing with financial systems, and analyzing financial data. You will also initiate, develop, lead, and participate in improvement processes, conduct training programs, and mentor less experienced team members. A strong understanding of the organization's structure and a robust network across departments are essential for answering questions, solving problems, and executing responsibilities effectively. Confidentiality is paramount in all responsibilities. Travel may be required.
