About The Position

We are looking for a talented Cross-functional Engineering Associate to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Cummins Inc. facility in Columbus, IN. In this role, you will make an impact by independently building and debugging new analog and digital circuit designs, analyzing and repairing circuit boards (including fine pitch), and troubleshooting circuits of moderate to advanced complexity. You will perform tests on circuit designs using approved test equipment and setups, build wiring assemblies, and support mechanical assemblies. You will use advanced electronics diagnostics and test equipment such as logic analyzers, probes, and digital oscilloscopes, and report on test results. You will also understand and apply appropriate company and department rules and guidelines, work with and train apprentices and technicians, and interface with customers, suppliers, engineers, and other functions. Additionally, you will coordinate programs including planning, scheduling, ordering, and tracking, participate in the maintenance of quality procedures, lead and participate in improvement projects, and develop and give presentations to customers and suppliers. You will know and comply with departmental and company safety policies and procedures, demonstrate confidentiality as required, and participate in self- and team-audits and associated corrective action.
