About The Position

At Care Hospice, technology should make caring for patients easier — not harder. The IT Asset & Support Specialist plays a key role in ensuring our colleagues have the right tools, at the right time, to do their jobs effectively. In this role, you’ll support and enhance our IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes, including onboarding, offboarding, inventory tracking, and lifecycle planning. You’ll help maintain accurate asset records, support hardware forecasting, and partner across teams to ensure compliance and operational consistency. Along the way, you’ll also assist with endpoint support needs, helping resolve issues quickly and keeping our colleagues productive. Location: This position is an in-office position located in Charlottesville, VA. This is NOT a remote position. Requirements

2+ years of experience supporting Windows and iOS-based endpoints at scale, with a strong focus on inventory management
Strong knowledge of laptop, desktop, and iPad hardware
Demonstrated experience supporting Windows and iOS devices in an enterprise environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure performance and identify improvement opportunities
Results-oriented mindset with the ability to remove barriers and simplify complex situations
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
High level of integrity with the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and sound judgment

Responsibilities

Deliver a seamless, high-quality endpoint support experience for colleagues across the organization
Own and maintain the accuracy of our enterprise asset inventory, ensuring visibility and control across the full asset lifecycle
Identify and resolve asset discrepancies, strengthening governance and compliance standards
Partner cross-functionally to ensure IT assets are properly onboarded, tracked, secured, and retired
Support and enhance IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes, policies, and enforcement methodologies
Prepare clear, actionable reports and insights for IT leadership and executive stakeholders
Assist with internal and external hardware audits, ensuring readiness and accuracy
Contribute to long-term hardware planning and capacity strategy to support organizational growth
Support onboarding and offboarding initiatives to ensure colleagues are equipped for success from day one
