About The Position

SAIC is looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our Defense & Civilian Sector in support of the Federal Aviation Administration Integrated Service Center (FAA ISC). SAIC leads the way to provide customer-centric IT Service Management (ITSM) focused on improving service, and leveraging processes and strategies with an emphasis on timely IT services and support. Candidates will be a key part of a team of IT professionals who provide IT Asset Management (ITAM) support for the FAA. This role can be worked remotely from anywhere WITHIN the US.

Requirements

  • IT Asset Management (ITAM) support experience
  • Experience managing and maintaining IT Asset Management (ITAM) databases and records
  • Experience ensuring quality control for data collection and recording
  • Experience assisting with developing and maintaining processes, policies, and standards related to ITAM
  • Experience conducting research and analysis across multiple ITAM databases
  • Experience communicating directly with customers and/or business stakeholders
  • Experience updating incidents and tasks through the ServiceNow ITSM Tool

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily and long-term asset management of IT computer hardware within the organization
  • Accurately manage and maintain IT Asset Management (ITAM) databases and records
  • Ensure quality control for all data collected and recorded
  • Assist with developing and maintaining processes, policies, and standards related to ITAM across the organization.
  • Conduct research and analysis across multiple ITAM databases to identify and track IT assets
  • Communicate directly with customers and/or business stakeholders in relation to IT assets
  • Update incidents and tasks through the ServiceNow ITSM Tool
