About The Position

Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for an IT Applications Engineer in our Windsor, Ontario facility. The IT Application Engineer will serve as the first level of support for all departments for end user transactions in the ERP system in addition to supporting other business applications. The ideal candidate will have prior ERP experience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package and career advancement opportunities. The IT ERP Systems Analyst- ERP primarily focuses on supporting the CCTS ERP Systems. The position is a liaison between technical personnel and end-user departments while evaluating and translating requirements to technical associates and/or vendors where appropriate. This position is the functional subject matter expert for the primary ERP system for the organization, Consequently, this position requires a detailed understanding of the features and functionality of both ERP software and their integrations to other modules or applications. The role will be responsible for supporting both ERP systems and business process improvement efforts for processes that are enabled by the system. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Technically strong in SQL, with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Working knowledge of EDI processes, including diagnosing and resolving transaction failure.
  • Strong Communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive experience, 5-10 years, with an ERP system especially in manufacturing environment.
  • 3-5 Years of experience with IBM System i system administration and DB2 experience.
  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities
