About The Position

This role serves as a crucial link between IT personnel and business users, focusing on defining requirements for system enhancements and program changes. The IT Analyst will provide daily business support, user assistance, and issue resolution for warehouse applications, as well as support system hardware, networking issues, outages, and equipment setup. Key responsibilities include configuring and maintaining warehouse settings, creating standard operating procedures, supporting various operational setup and validation activities, coordinating API key management, managing issue logs and communications, and assisting with project prioritization and change management. The role also involves developing and executing test scripts for system changes.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of IT support experience in a corporate, manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environment.
  • Experience supporting Desktop and laptop hardware/software
  • Experience supporting Windows operating systems
  • Experience supporting Active Directory user administration
  • Experience supporting Ticketing systems (ServiceNow, TeamDynamix, or similar)
  • Experience supporting Network troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting Printer support, including laser, multifunction, and label printers (Zebra, Sato, etc.)
  • Experience with WMS platforms, preferably Softeon WMS.
  • Experience supporting warehouse operational processes and business applications.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, procedures, and user training materials.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical and application-related issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or possess equivalent experience in information technologies, engineering, manufacturing, distribution or a related field.
  • Continued working knowledge of the Softeon WMS and subsequent modules.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between IT personnel and business users to define requirements for system enhancements and program changes.
  • Support and manage Team Dynamix incidents through resolution and closure.
  • Provide daily business support, user assistance, and issue resolution for warehouse applications.
  • Support system hardware, networking issues, outages, new/existing equipment and setup/configuration.
  • Configure and maintain warehouse settings, including pick sequences, warehouse profiles, user security groups, and employee system access.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials.
  • Support SKU setup, validation activities, warehouse configurations, pack slip modifications, and customer-specific system requirements.
  • Coordinate API key management for test and production environments.
  • Manage issue logs, customer communications, and project status updates.
  • Assist Operations with project prioritization and change management activities.
  • Develop test scripts, execute testing activities, document results, and obtain approvals for system changes.
  • Read, understand, and assume responsibility for performance of all procedures, assignments, notices and policies applicable to assigned area and common areas, including posted notices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
