About The Position

At CyberMaxx, we value humility, transparency, intellectual curiosity, and a customer first approach. CyberMaxx is seeking a qualified information technology professional for a full-time position. The position’s focus will be to provide general IT support to the CyberMaxx organization. This position will be in person at our Linthicum Heights office. In addition to the general IT support of systems, the position will offer the candidate opportunity to learn, support and manage various information security solutions currently deployed within the CyberMaxx network as well as ones being evaluated in the lab environment. The position will offer great learning opportunities and professional development for a candidate looking to advance in the general Information Technology and Information Security field.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT.
  • Understanding of laptop and server hardware support tasks.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP is required.
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of private and public cloud infrastructure, network components such as switching, routing, operating systems, application servers, and security principles.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft certifications preferred
  • Experience and understanding of network design and troubleshooting specificity as it applies to interoperability of firewall systems with the network is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide general IT support to the CyberMaxx organization.
  • Management of Microsoft ecosystem of products such as Azure, M365, Defender XDR and MDM.
  • Endpoint hardware support from vendors such as Apple, Dell, and Microsoft
  • Familiarity with enterprise ticketing systems such as ZoHo, Zendesk, ServiceNow, Atlassian
  • Basic understanding of firewall and VPN systems.
  • Management of corporate telephony systems.
