About The Position

The oneworld Digital team is responsible for driving the alliance’s digital strategy by building and managing a portfolio of products and services that enable our employees and member airlines to deliver value at scale. With stewardship of our digital experience, we deliver measurable benefits and a more seamless end‑to‑end customer journey. The oneworld Digital team works in close partnership with member airline digital teams, strategic partners, and trusted suppliers to deliver both internal tooling and external services for a modern, scalable ecosystem across the oneworld value chain. The IT Administrator is responsible for configuring and operating our IT systems and workplace tooling, including our Microsoft Office environment. This includes day-to-day operations, system administration, hardware and software procurement and lifecycle management, and vendor management. Your role is essential in supporting productivity across the entire organization.

Requirements

  • At least five years’ relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, Sharepoint, collaboration tools, and IT infrastructure management
  • Knowledge of system and application lifecycle management
  • Understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
  • Familiarity with various operating systems, cloud platforms, and virtualization technologies
  • A strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience launching and governing new IT services or infrastructre
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, and self direction
  • Ability to function with minimal administrative support
  • Excellent team player who enjoys a fast-paced work environment and is comfortable with dynamic objectives in an evolving industry
  • Capable of applying a disciplined and methodical approach to work in a complex matrix organizational structure
  • Strategic thinker with the capability of simplifying and communicating complex concepts and situations
  • Proven experience of working cross-culturally and cross-functionally

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Copilot, Purview, Sharepoint, and other digital workplace tools.
  • Solid experience in project and program management, successfully driving IT and digital projects from concept to delivery within budget, scope and schedule.
  • Solid background in identifying and communicating improvement opportunities, and setting up governance to drive system usage and productivity.
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security best practices and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations and administration of IT systems and hardware, ensuring availability, reliability, and security.
  • Maintain structured governance for systems and processes.
  • Setting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for IT support and system performance.
  • Tracking performance and using insights to improve system usage, performance, and productivity.
  • Assist in identifying IT needs and improvement areas and translating those to tangible delivery plans for the function.
  • Evaluate hardware and software options for various business needs.
  • Manage security measures and configuration to protect the organizations IT systems and data.
  • Together with the team, run risk assessment, implement threat monitoring, and establish mitigation and recovery plans.
  • Manage vendor relations and performance.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to plan and deliver IT projects.
  • Schedule and facilitate IT program meetings to communicate status, risks, and escalations related to systems, services, and projects.
  • Provide guidance, documentation, and training to help our team members use our tools most efficiently and securely.
