About The Position
Tenstorrent is seeking a motivated IT Systems Administrator Intern to assist in managing and maintaining its IT infrastructure. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in systems administration, network management, and IT support within a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. The role is on-site in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and requires travel to the United States.
Requirements
- Studying a technical field like Computer Networking, Computer Systems Technology, or similar programs.
- Naturally curious about how things work.
- Calm and focused when things go wrong, and driven to solve problems.
- Comfortable working on your own or jumping into a team to lend a hand wherever needed.
- Eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology.
Responsibilities
- Help maintain and support users, systems, and infrastructure across Tenstorrent.
- Assist with managing Linux systems including enterprise server hardware, network configuration, and deployment automation.
- Pitch in on tool configuration, inventory upkeep, and monitoring infrastructure performance.
- Gain experience in different areas of IT by jumping in on various projects and user support tasks (Mac/Windows), especially during escalations.
